Born 8 March 1876, Arthur was the first born child to #9 Watson Leach and #10 Sarah Catherine Kenney. Arthur had three brothers and two sisters. One of his sisters died just before her 8th birthday from the kick of a horse. One of his brothers, #5 Charles Albert Leach, was the webmaster's grandfather.
Arthur's mother died 24 October 1888, when Arthur was only 12 years old. His father remarried in 1890, and Arthur had a step brother born that year.

The 1900 census states that Arthur is a lodger in Liberty, Hardin, Ohio and attending school. In 1906 his father died.
The 1910 census states he is 35, and a prisoner, living in City Jail in Huntington, VA. [Details of his incarceration are unknown by the webmaster].
The 1930 census states he is a laborer in the oil-gas field, out of work and looking for work as a purchasing agent in Real estate. He was living in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was actually 54, but the census lists him as 74.
The 1950 census lists him as a lodger, living in Tulsa, Oklahoma and 74 years old.
He died 20 August 1955 at the age of 79.
He is buried at Memorial Park
Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
